Bonny & Kipper

Bonny & Kipper were our two fur babies. We adopted Bonny and then a year or two later, Kipper adopted us. They quickly became brother and sister and loved playing together.

Bonny was very timid when she arrived. She immediately bonded with me as I spent a couple of hours with her in the garden when we brought her home. It took her some months to go near Ray, my husband. But he was very patient and gave her some space, and in time, she grew to love him too. She was a big softy and very beautiful.

Kipper was a little sweetheart, but he grew to be a little bit stubborn and liked to do things his way which was fine with us. Here he is trotting around the garden looking for frogs or lizards to play with.

Kipper often had Gracie over to play in the garden while the humans had dinner on the patio. They enjoyed nightly walks and play time at the park together.

Kipper almost got used to going to the groomer for a bath and haircut. Look at this handsome little man!

Bonny loved lounging around on the patio in the sun.

And, she loved relaxing in the garden.

Kipper was a true Brit at heart.

I was surprised that on the very rare occasion that we had snow, Bonny and Kipper loved it just as much as we did. Oh, how I long to see snow again! What fun and wonderful memories I have of Bonny and Kipper.
